[R770] Is there any way/support on how to join R770 to vSZ-E?

Recently bought two R770 AP for WiFi7. I have brought a vSZ-E on hyper-V .

I could see R770 has came with solo firmware 122.0.0.0.722. Hence I don't think it will directly join a controller with 6.1.2 image.

Any support being provided on this end?

Hello,

Currently, the SZ doesn't support the R770. It will be supported in version 7.0, which is expected to be launched at the end of this month.

Is it at all possible ruckus might backport the R770 support to SZ v6.1.2?  We have a fairly large deployment and would like to start adding some R770s but the SZ v7.0 requirement is a showstopper for us until it goes stable.

Hi Greg,

No, the R770 (along with all WiFi 7 APs) will only be supported on versions 7.X and onwards. We will not backport support for these newer APs in version 6.X.
