How enable 160 Mhz or 80+80 MHz on AP r730

Hey,

I'm trying to use Ruckus R730.

I found confusing information in different documentation:

* it's clear that it supports 20/40/80 Mhz

* in some places (for example documentation about ZC) I can see that it can support 80+80/160

To check how it works I installed vSZ v6.0.0 (the last version that has firmware for this AP, v6.1 uses old firmware)

But in the interface, if I'm trying to override parameters for 5Ghz I see only options for 20/40/80.

Also, it is connected using a 48V (at least 2A) DC adapter.

Does it actually support 80+80/160 Mhz and can I active it (even in SOLO mode)?

Thank you.

Hello @namezys

I found in the datasheet for the R730 this is what they support:

https://webresources.ruckuswireless.com/datasheets/r730/ds-ruckus-r730.html

This is how it looks like in the datasheet for the R650 which supports 80+80

Maybe you have software/firmware that is not available public?

@namezys

What is the version of your R730? The newest version is available for this AP:

https://support.ruckuswireless.com/software/2768-ruckus-solo-access-point-114-0-0-0-6565-ga-software...

About the performance in solo mode, please collect the follwing commands in both solo and SZ for us to understand better: get cwmode wifi1 /wifi0, get wlanlist, get channel wifi1 /wifi0, get txpower wifi1 /wifi0, get scanresults wifi1 /wifi0

after double recheck it changed its mind and started to work perfect even in Solo mode.

BTW it's helpful information
