Clients won't reconnect after AP Firmware Upgrade...

Currently we are running AP Firmware 5.1.2.0.373 in our Default Zone, where 4 Zones are included and it works quite fine.

When upgrading to a newer Firmware, last tried with 5.2.1.0.698  - three zones are working as usual, but in one zone clients wont reconnect to the wifi networks anymore, except a few. Mainly we use R500 APs. When downgrading to the old AP Firmware, everything is fine again.

Maybe anyone has an idea, or a hint why this is happening?

Hi,

Could you please explain more about the client behavior?
Are the client unable to connect to the wifi or it is connecting but unable to reconnect when it goes to sleep mode?
Is this happening for any specific client models?

Also, you might need to check on the last comment on the below post.

i have no problems with guest portal, after trying some things and investigating, i found out that all published Wifi Networks are shown as open after the AP Upgrade.

when doing a downgrade back to 5.1.2.0.373 the networks are switching back to secured!

Hi,

Is this shown the same way on all the clients? Even on the clients which are working?
Can you take a working client and try to place it on the non working client location (so that it can connect to the same AP) and see if you can reproduce the issue?
