Clients disconnection issue

Hi,

We have some issues about clients randomly disconnected from our Wifi.
It happens frequently without clear reason.
When they are disconnected, the can disconnect and reconnect to the network and it's working fine again.
Our Wlan is configured with WPA2/AES security.
No isolation, no captive portal.
We set the inactivity disconnection to 500minutes.
It's configured to provide a VLAN (33)

Our controller is a ZD1200
Firmware : 9.13.2.0 build 33
Our access points are R500

Do not hesitate if you need some more information.

Thank you for your help !

If Wi-Fi clients are staying connected but experiencing connectivity issues, what fault-finding have you done on the other elements of the network and apps the users are accessing?

Static channels won't help if it's interference that's causing the issue, it will only exacerbate the problem. Longer background scanning will likely have the same effect.

Have you sought expert advice from your Ruckus partner to verify your SZ and network configuration?

december 2023. same issue mostly affecting apple devices and some laptops. androids seem to be working fine. wtf

Hi @hakunamatomato,

There is no such specific bug which may cause the issue with Apple devices.

If you are facing connectivity issues, we have to take a closer look at your controller/AP setup and verify what is causing the issue.

Since troubleshooting client connectivity could be complex sometimes, I suggest you open a case with RUCKUS Support and work with them.
