AP is down when ZD is disconnected

Is there any way that the AP can still broadcast SSID if and only if the ruckus controller will be disconnect in LAN? How many minutes interval or query interval from controller to AP? Can I manually set the interval?

Telnet Server

Could someone please explain the context in which the ZD1100 9.6.1.0 build 15 supports telnet server? What is the use case for this? Why would it be useful to include this on the ZD? Never come across telnet server before so wondering how it is use...
