Migrating from ZD3000 to ZD 5000

We are currently running on a redundant pair of ZD3000 controllers. The replacement ZD 5000s have been ordered. To upgrade do I just get the ZD5000s on the same SW release as the 3000s and restore a backup from the ZD3000s.

Hello Andrew, since you can't find 9.4.3.0.12 is because we have a higher version available - 9.4.3.0.16.
Alternative is that you upgrade your ZD3000's to 9.4.3.0.16 and then pull a new Config back up which you can load into ZD5k running code - 9.4.3.0.16.
Release notes are available for 9.4.3.0.16. Hope it helps.

[Shhhh...don't tell - the ZD3K images and ZD5K images are...the same image...]

So you can use your ZD3K image (if you still have it) on the ZD5K and visa versa. We just change the name to avoid confusion.
