avpd_output: 1027: Error in policy_type 0?

Running R610 with the latest version of Unleashed (200.9.10.4.212), I'm seeing this error spamming my logs from all the APs:

avpd_output: 1027: Error in policy_type 0

Anyone know how to get rid of it?

Hi Keith,

Are you using radius for the authentication?

AVP = Attribute Value Pairs

If you are using radius for authentication (MAC auth or 802.1X) and wrong attribute are sent by radius, you may see these error. I am not 100% sure but this should be the case.

Also double check the radius configuration on controller and on server side.

So you are seeing those errors on Unleashed event logs or specific AP support logs?

I configured the Ruckus Unleashed controller to send syslog messages to my syslog server, and I'm seeing those errors there.
