Won’t connect to cox wifi- lights are out

The connection to cox is lost. Any help or ideas on how to fix this?

If your Cox Wi-Fi won't connect and the directv plans  lights are out, first check the power supply and ensure the modem is plugged in properly. Restart the modem by unplugging it for 30 seconds before plugging it back in. If the lights remain off, inspect for any service outages in your area or contact Cox customer support for further assistance
