I've installed 23 R510/R550 Accesspoints in an unleashed Network at customer site. The net is up and running.
The customer added four NAD BlueSound players to the LAN. Now we face the problem that the (latest) IOS App can't discover these players. Players and iOS Device are in the same VLAN.
I'm blamed having installed a bad WiFi network...
Please advise how to solve the problem. My guess is that the iOS BluOS App uses some special kind of IGMP/mDNS.
Funny fact: BlueSound App on an MAC discovers the Players....

A similar issue was resolved by rolling back the firmware to 6.1 as the latest firmware has a difficult time with multicast packets.

Sounds like a multicast discovery issue—iOS likely relies on mDNS or Bonjour, which may be blocked or not properly forwarded by Unleashed. Check if "Bonjour Gateway" or "IGMP snooping" is enabled on the APs. Also try putting iOS and players on same AP/radio band temporarily to test.
