Radius server unreachable events

vSZ version 5.2.0.0.699 with 411 R710s APs on campus. Every few days we are getting a bunch of radius server unreachable events. What is odd is the details of the event do not even point to our radius server. All events are reported like this

AP [Int301@F8:E7:1E:2A:A4:40] is unable to reach radius server [127.0.0.1].

Of course 127.0.0.1 is not our radius server. We are using Cloudpath as our radius server. Our wifi is rock solid so there are no other symptoms other than a rash of these events every few days.

Any ideas what causes this?

Tin foil hat: Agreed, I think it also has some client impact. Even with the performance fix in 5.2.1, the system/APs performance just won't match 3.6.1 or older.

I see that there's an fix for this that came out today.

So after applying the AP patch that was released yesterday, that included ER-8797, the problem still persists. At this point, it's just laughable.

I am running 5.2.1.0.515 on 2 vSZ-E controllers and experiencing the issue described here. I have raised a ticket with Ruckus this evening and share my findings.

@vineet_nejawala  - is this still a known issue in the latest VSZ version?

I have two customers on fresh installs with basic config and not a huge network, both experiencing this false error - "Radius Server Unreachable" but the users are authenticating without issue.
