When using the same Radius authentication server as 2 SSIDs

Hi

I am writing because I have an inquiry about the controller and authentication server.

1. You are using 2 SSIDs and the same Radius server.

2. MAC Authentication + PSK is in use.

3. After connecting to SSID A, when connecting to SSID B, it is possible to access without authentication.

4. Is there a way to get authentication for each SSID from the authentication server of the same IP?

Hello @kim_seonmyeong

As per the design when client changes SSID, it should go through the re-authentication.

Could you please share the screenshot of WLAN Configuration for better understanding?

Hi Parik_MN

Thank you for your reply

Headquarters and branch offices have different SSIDs

The authentication server is the same, and the DB has both the MAC address of the branch office and the head office.

When an employee of a branch office accessed the head office, it accessed without authentication.

Hi @kim_seonmyeong

I believe there are no group attributes nor conditions configured in the AAA server to differentiate the client Auth request as per SSID. Please feel free to contact Ruckus Support and open a ticket for further investigation on the same.

Parik
