We had a switch die, what's the process to put the new one in the Smartzone in place of the old one?
Just slap the IP back on the the switch and register it? Delete the old one first?

Good day to you.
Since we use SmartZone for Monitoring the Switches. You can delete the Old/Defective ICX switch entry from the SmartZone if you have to configure the same Old ICX switch IP to avoid duplication. Configure the new ICX switch with the IP and register it back to SmartZone. That should help.
