Why are Ruckus products so bad since CommScope bought them?
Seriously, the motorola units i had before CommScope aquired that division were great. Then the three models that i rolled out to my enterprise after CommScope bought moto have been cheaper hardware, barely functional firmware with few updates and terrible support from CommSCope.
Similiarily, the new Ruckus APs we are using didn't deploy cleanly and CommScope finally admitted its a bug in the firmware but then washed their hands saying we just need to return them and use a different model. We have 100 of these already in our warehouse. The support team tells us nothing and seems to either be clueless or are gagged by some kind of gag order. I know CommScope has been failing financially and is in a sea of debt from all it's aquisitions and mis management but its a shame when formerly great companies like Ruckus, Motorola, and ARRIS get stripped of all their integrity by greedy financial pirates who strip the human element (good tech support) out of the asset line.
