Unleashed mobile app shows APs but not the switch

As the title says, my home network is visible within the unleashed mobile app. I can see both of the APs and all the details associated with them. When you cycle through the "carousel" of options at the top "no switches" are visible on the switches section. Shouldn't I be able to see and manage my switch from there?

Thank you for the information you shared.

From the case description, I understand that you are unable to access your RUCKUS Switch through your Unleashed app.

I would request you to please login to your Unleashed system on a web browser using the Master AP IP Address or https://unleashed.ruckuswireless.com/ and share the screenshot after pressing the Switch option.

You should see the below-Unleashed dashboard after finding the IP Address of the AP. Try to log in

Could you please log into the unleashed system and share the screen shot showing the below details?

Some further digging has led me to believe that the firmware on the switch is out of date. It needs current firmware to be added to / managed from this dashboard. Sounds like it will possibly be a multi-step upgrade process. 

I've located the IP address to the switch, my understanding of a next step is to access the console on it and determine the current version it is running and then go from there. I'm out of time today to try next steps. I'll work on it some more in a few days and update progress here.

Before we can help, we need to check which version the Switch is currently running.

Also, you mentioned that you have located the IP address of the Switch

As you have identified the IP address of the switch proceed to access remotely to the device “Command Line”

If you can access the Command line should look like this:

ICX7150-C12 Router> OR

ICX7150-C12 Switch>

Please enter the below commands once you log in to CLI and share the output.

Note: Hit Enter to accept each command

enable

show version

show flash
