Hi,
We had a power outage few days ago; After that, the internet is unstable. So, I used logged into the unleashed through https://unleashed.ruckuswireless.com/ and upgraded the firmware; but I think it upgraded only the APs. Not the switch (By the way, I am a network specialist; only now, I understood that you have two equipments in one; the Unleashed master part; and then the switch inside and the AP Controller; this itself is new to people). Now, the firmware of the unleashed is 200.15.6.212.14. However, the switch says it is still DISCONNECTED. So, I found its IP Address (192.168.1.76) and try to follow your forums and update the IP Address in the switch IP; (Earlier, it was always "connecting"; now, it gives an error message "Failed to ping ICX 192.168.1.76. Suggest checking the network". I am also getting always the error message at the top left of switch screen as "Unleashed system only supports ICX firmware version 08.0.90 or later." From my Mac machine, I am able to connect to ssh to unleashed. But not able to ssh or http to OCX. It keeps saying connection timed out. I think if I have a way to connect to the ICX, I can follow your rest of your forum posts (They are nice; thank you), and somehow upgrade the firmware or fix the SPS settings to recover. Please help on how I should be able to connect to the ICX. Should I reboot the unleashed? would that help? Thank you.

Hi Pinky,Thank you for a quick feedback. Here is my current situation:1. I rebooted the unleashed box by SSH into that unleashed terminal; and typing reload or reboot command; and the unleashed rebooted with all Wifi. (Folks should be aware that unleashed box has two shells inside. One for the main unleashed master and one separately for the switch that is built-in)2. After this, I am able to see the ICX Switch’s web and SSH connections; I am able to perform operations.3. Then, I followed one of your guides to change the ICX switch mode from SPR to SPS.4. Now, my internet is stable; however, following are my problems:1. When updated SPR to SPS in the router, it gives a warning now: FI image is not booted from UFI; please download UFI image and reboot system for full functionality.
update: I downloaded latest firmware SPS08095pufi.bin and copied to flash from my TFTP server. (Did not use intermedia and 8080f steps in your guide). Rebooted the switch.After about 20 minutes, all equipment are back online and working great. In fact, our power went out again last night. However, when power came, everything works perfectly.thank you for the support.

From the case description, I understand that you are unable to connect to the Switch by SSH.
Could you please use the same IP address to login to the web browser and confirm if you are able to access the Switch dashboard?
You should observe the Switch Dashboard, which should be visible upon accessing the appropriate IP address, as illustrated in the screenshot below.
Please let us know if you are able to access the dashboard with the obtained IP address.
