Hi @Khizza83

Thank you for your response.

Yes, you can upgrade the secondary partition to 08.0.95r using the SSH option. Later, if needed, you can revert it back to 08.0.95g by copying the image from the primary partition using the command - 'copy flash flash secondary'

If you have any questions or need assistance with the process, please feel free to reach out.

Thank you again for your patience and understanding.

Hi @Khizza83

Greetings!

Thank you for reaching out to the RUCKUS Community Forums.

Could you please confirm if this is a RUCKUS setup in a Lennar Home?

If so, we recommend keeping the switch on the 08.0.95g firmware version, as it is the preferred and validated version for Lennar Home deployments.

However, if you would like to proceed with the 08.0.95r version, please share the output of the following commands:
enable

show version

show flash

dm verify-device-certs

Additionally, could you let us know if you're currently facing any issues that prompted the attempt to upgrade?

Your confirmation will help us guide you more effectively.

Thank you once again.

Yes it is setup in a Lennar home.

I can provide you with the command prompt information later.

The reason for the upgrade was for "NO Power on Access Points and ICX-7150-C12P Switch with GREEN lights on SYST & PWR and PoE disabled" issue.

When I went to download the update saw a newer version so figure that should be done as well.

Would the 08.0.95r update be needed in the future?

Hi @Khizza83

Thank you for your response and the update.

You may upgrade to 08.0.95r; however, please note that for Lennar Home users, the 08.0.95g version is the stable and recommended firmware.

For the PoE issue, you can fix it in the PoE Knowledge Base article process.

If you have any questions or need further assistance, feel free to reach out.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.
