Switch Router Deleted All Information

Hello,

My ICX Switch router disconnect and deleted all the information from my account. What do I do? and how do I add it back?

Thank you for the information you shared.

As per the case description, I understand that your RUCKUS ICX-7150-C12P Switch is showing disconnected in the Unleashed system.

As I see from the picture you shared, seems like the ethernet cable which is coming from the ISP’s (Internet Service Provider’s) Router or Modem/Router combo is plugged into the wrong port on the Switch panel. It must be plugged into any 1 in-12 ports as shown in the below screenshot. Please unplug the ethernet cable and plug it into the correct port and try to connect to the Internet via Access Points. Also please unplug/plug the ethernet cables of the Access Points into any 1 in-12 ports as highlighted in the below screenshot. 

Once you unplug and plug them, please reboot (unplug and plug from the power outlet) your RUCKUS ICX-7150-C12P Switch and ISP Router. Check the status once perform the process explained.

This issue isn’t how the cables are set up. I got my internet professionally installed over 2 years ago. I tried what you said and it got rid of my internet completely, so I plugged it back the way it was and I got internet again, but it’s not being transmitted throughout my house. How do I re-add the switch onto my ruckus account? I can only access via App through my phone. I can’t access it through a computer because the switch no longer has an IP address because it deleted itself.

Please note the ISP Router’s ethernet cable should be into the any 1 in-12 ports as described in my previous post for it’s better performance. 

We may need to check some Switch configurations. Please follow the below process and help me with the queries to assist you further.

Please follow the below steps and help us with the queries:

1. To check this issue, we must identify the ‘current’ IP address assigned by your local router to the switch ICX-7150-C12P

I will leave you a guide on how to perform an IP scanner on your local network to identify the switch IP address very easily.

2. Once we identify the IP address of the switch proceed to access remotely to the device “Command Line”

If you can access the Command line should look like this:

ICX7150-C12 Router> OR

ICX7150-C12 Switch>

Please enter the below commands once you log in to CLI and share the output.

Note: Hit Enter to accept each command 

enable 

show version

show flash

RUCKUS Lennar Home Community.

I was able to get my Switch back and log onto my account via the web. I am now getting these messages: “Unleashed system only supports ICX firmware version 08.0.90 or later” and “SSH service is not on ICX [insert IP address]. Please manually enable it on ICX”. 
How do I upgrade my system? And manually enable my IP address on the ICX?
