Ruckus and AP keep turning off

Hi.

I've had to reset my AP access points multiple times. Is there a way to fix it? I unplug the ruckus and the lights come back on but go away after a few minutes, I'm not sure why they keep going out.

Hi. This is what I got when I i did those commands

I was trying to upload the screen shots but it doesn't let me. I think it has to do with the ruckus because the yellow/green lights on the box turn off after a few minutes when I unplug and replug it. So even after I do all those commands the APs turn off again.

Hi @ebalele

Thank you for the detailed information you’ve provided.

Based on the details, it appears that PoE is currently disabled on all switch ports (as shown in the screenshot). As a result, the Access Points are not receiving power.

To enable PoE on the switch, please run the following commands via the CLI:

Switch>enable
No password has been assigned yet...
Switch#configure terminal
Switch(config)#interface ethernet 1/1/1 to 1/1/12

Switch(config-mif-1/1/1-1/1/12)#inline power (please wait till the process gets complete and check)

Once these steps are completed, all ports should have PoE enabled, and the Access Points should power on.

To help prevent similar issues in the future, I recommend upgrading the switch to the latest stable version, as it is currently running an older non-UFI version (SPS08061a). Once you’ve completed the above steps please try to upgrade your Switch to a recommended version referring to the mentioned RUCKUS Lennar Knowledge Base article. (Upgrade using option-1)
