Hi Imran,

Thank you for responding.I did follow the steps you mentioned after I switch wires we totally lost the internet for 2 days. After Internet is back I did follow your steps and enabled telnet and connected to terminal. Not sure what you want me to do after this.It says

????telnet@ICX7150-C12-Switch>
I did click enter

after that it show telnet@ICX7150-C12-Switch> enable

after I type enable it says no password has been assigned yet and take me back to telnet@ICX7150-C12-Switch.
Please help me what to do next?

Do I need to do this every time we have power outage?

The other question is it used to display both AP Under WIFI now I don't see master name only the other name is displaying. We have only 1 WIFI connection now

Hi @Vamsireddi

Greetings!

Thank you for your response and the update. Please find the answers to your queries below:

Issue with the "enable" command:
After entering the enable command, you receive a prompt indicating that no password has been assigned, and you are returned to the telnet@ICX7150-C12-Switch prompt.

  • This is a standard process. Please proceed with the other commands outlined in the Routing Code article to resolve the issue.

Power Outage and Repeated Steps:
You inquired whether the steps need to be repeated after every power outage.

  • This will not be necessary once the Routing Code issue is resolved. Both partitions will have the Switching (SPS) code in place. The Switch defaults to SPS on the primary partition and SPR on the secondary. After a power outage, your Switch is booting from the secondary partition, causing the issue. By fixing Routing code the SPS code is also copied to the secondary partition to prevent this from happening in the future.

Wi-Fi Issue with AP Display:
You mentioned that only one access point is now displaying under Wi-Fi, and the master name is no longer visible.

  • Please address the Routing Code issue and verify the Wi-Fi display once again.

Please let me know if you have any further questions or concerns regarding these matters.

Thank you once again for your patience and understanding.
