Ruckus R510 Slowness

joseph_nguyen_g

Ruckus R510 Slowness - My topology Comcast Xfinity X1 router with 1Gbps service, measuring 850Mbps as the output. This goes to a Rucker switch C12P, and the output there is 825Mbps. However, coming out of the 2 APs, even with AP to AP speedtest, its only 400Mbps. At remote location in my house, i am only getting 40Mbps. Troubleshooting with Lennar Home network specialist, everything pointed back to the 2 APs, Ruckus R510 Unleashed. What was the last known working FW version that supported full-duplex speedtest with results near max speed ~800Mbps+?

Joseph,
Which  version of unleashed firmware are you using? Exact number.. the reason why I ask it's I've too have been issues with the recent unleashed firmware. There's a whole discussion thread on it.

https://forums.ruckuswireless.com/ruckuswireless/topics/slow-download-speeds-r710-unleashed

The firmware that seem to have issues is unleashed is :
200.7.10.102.64
200.7.10.2.339
Anyway, I went back to 200.6.10.X

However, in the past week they recently just released
200.7.10.202.92

I'm in the process of testing 200.7.10.202.92 on a R710 and seems better than 200.6.10.X

It seems you can't upgrade it through the unleashed online upgrade since it's not listed.

You can get the newer firmware at this link
https://support.ruckuswireless.com/products/91-ruckus-r510#firmwares

let me know if this newer firmware helps you.

200.7.10.102.64. I have to try later. Thx

It's weird, that the APs told me I have the latest when it's not. We checked today and it was still saying 200.7.10.102.64 was the latest??? also, within the upgrade ui, there were 2 if 200.7, without spelling out the entire version, it's a freaking guessing game...

nah... seems it still has issue.. stick with firmware 206.10.X

the ap did not reboot.. when I tested it... the first time after the reboot.. still the same issue... ...
yeah it seems with firmware 200.7,X still has the issue.. have you tried going back to 200.6.10.x?  note when you go back it resets all settings.. you'll need to restore settings with a backup file from 200.6.10.X or it would be too new and won't let you.
