Ruckus ICX 7150-C12P failed - no lights

I have a ICX 7150-C12P that abruptly stopped working. When I power cycle it, I get all amber lights to flash but then no lights after that.

I have changed the power cord, plugged it into a confirmed good outlet, held the reset button in while powering it, releasing the reset button after the amber lights flash.

Looking at other posts, I have done all the troubleshooting I can.

What is the next course of action? This unit is from 2018, Lennar home, with S/N FEK3238N0AY.

Thank you for sharing the requested information with pictures and a video.

Based on the troubleshooting done, your ICX-7150-C12P Switch is not powering up, and when plugged in, it flashes an amber light and then goes dark with no power. Also, you tried to reset the Switch. And you confirm that the Switch is plugged into a well-known outlet/power source also tried with different cords. However, the failure persists. This unit Should be RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) in simple words replacing it.

Thank you for the information you shared.

As per the case description, I could understand that your RUCKUS setup is not working.

Could you please let us know the answers to the below queries to assist you better?

1. Was there any power outage before you started facing this issue?

2. On your switch while it's plugged into the outlet, do you see any lights on? (Amber or green) Please let us know which lights are on. (Please refer to the below picture and share a picture of the same showing the light status and the cable connections to the Switch)

3. May I know how many Access Points are connected to the Switch? Could you please let me know the light status on the Access Points? Any of these lights are on (Please refer to the below picture and share a picture of the same)

Please help us with pictures of your ICX-7150-C12P Switch showing the status of the lights. Also, light the status of Access Points.

There were no power outages. I was home working in WiFi when it stopped working.

There are no lights on the switch.

Thank you for the response and the detailed information you shared.

As you mentioned that you have tried with different power cords.

Also, please try to reset the Switch as described below:

1. Please try to disconnect from the Power outlet the ICX-7150 and reconnect.

2. Please try to press the reset button using a paper click or a small stick 

  • Remove power from the switch.
  • Press and hold the Reset button while applying power to the switch.
  • After all the system LEDs flash amber, release the Reset button.

IF RESET IS NOT WORKING, PLEASE TRY TO RESET YOUR SWITCH MULTIPLE TIMES AS DESCRIBED ABOVE.

I attempted to reset the device following the instructions four times without success. I get a short flash of amber lights and then no lights after that.
