My Ruckus ICX 8150 is now working but the extenders seem not. The CTL and Pwr lights are blinking.

I just want to confirm. They yellow cable is from my isp router. I should connect that to the 1-12 ports in the screenshot? I thought the 12 ports are for the access points? Please advise.

Hi @alpogi2dmax

Greetings!!!

Thank you for your response.

Yes, the Yellow cable from the ISP Router must be connected to one of the 1-12 ports on the RUCKUS ICX-7150-C12P Switch (please refer to the screenshots below). Kindly unplug the cable and reconnect it to the appropriate port. Afterward, please reboot the ISP router by unplugging and plugging it back into the power outlet. Once done, check your internet connection.

Please let me know how it goes, and feel free to reach out if further assistance is needed.

Thank you again for your patience and understanding.

I have yellow lights in the 2.4g and 5g. Is that expected?

Hi @alpogi2dmax

Greetings!!!

Thank you for the response and the update.

Yes, the amber lights on the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz radios indicate normal behavior.

When the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz LEDs are amber, it signifies that the radios are active and functioning correctly, but no clients or devices are currently connected. Once a device connects to either the 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz radio, the corresponding LED will turn green to reflect active connectivity.

For more detailed information regarding the LED status indicators on the RUCKUS R510 Access Point, please refer to the following documentation:

Please let me know if you have any queries in this regard.

Thank you again for your patience.

Best regards,
