Replace the unit and the old RMA case # 01268397

Previously i raised the above RMA, and I would like to open a new RMA and want to work on my pending item to replace.

Hi Imran,

Sorry for the multiple messages, and it might have confused you, but I was not sure which Ethernet is connected to which device, which is why i remove the Ethernet cable from the 12-port ISP modem-Router combo Switch to check and i took the picture and that's why the green light is showing on the each port, but after wating for some time i checked back and now i'm sharing you the picture of the switch again and none of the Ethernet cable has any light on. Hope this will help you solve the issue now.

Thank you for the response and the detailed information.

Based on the cabling and the current LED status, the RUCKUS Switch appears to be in a normal state. However, please try unplugging the Access Points (AP) Ethernet cables from their current switch ports and reconnecting them to any other available ports within the 1–12 range (refer to the screenshot below). Once completed, please verify the LED status on the Access Point. Both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz LEDs should be illuminated for normal operations.

Hi, Imran

Tried changing mostly all available ports, and it has the same result as the current one, only the Power light is on in the device, and none of the light is getting on to the device. We have to replace the device itself

Thank you for your response and for the information provided.

I guess you have 2 Access Points in total as per the picture you shared previously. However, could you please confirm the total number of Access Points in your setup, and whether this is the only Access Point currently experiencing issues?

Additionally, we recommend trying a different Ethernet cable and performing a factory reset on the affected AP by following the steps outlined in the article below:

Hi Imran, 

That's really nice of you to help me and responding me really quickly to solve the issue, but I have already done all the debugging of the issue with the Rukus team a couple of years ago, and have come to the point to replace the device. The Ruckus sent me the details of shipping the device first, and then they are going to send me the new one, but in the middle of the process, I have to move back to India because of my father mediical condition and have to stay there till it cure, now i'm back and trying to finished my pending work, so please i don't want to waste your time and mine as well. Please help me so I can send the non-working device back to you, and once you receive it, send me the new one or the working one.

To answer your question, yes, I have two devices (one upstairs and one downstairs). When I started the process, neither of the device where working. So, Ruckus, send me the one new one so that at least I can use the internet downstairs, and then I'm supposed to send the other one to you, and i'll get the replacement. At this point i stopped and want to resume the process. Before I tried reaching out to the team i tried all the possible scenarios like changing the Ethernet cable and the ports, changing the device's place itself, like moving the device from upstairs to downstairs, and vice versa. 

Again, trust me i tried all the possible ways around to work. Please don't waste the time. The device is not working. Please help me send me the new one
