Re: Ruckus ICX FastIron 08.0.90d upgrade to 8095G

Hi Imran,

This issue continues to be a problem where the switch is dropping from the network almost on a daily basis, sometimes multiple time a day now. Is more trouble needed or can this be considered a hardware failure?

Should I open another ticket or can you assist?

Many Thanks.

Hi @daddygoat

Thank you for your response.

I apologize for the inconvenience.

The Switch is designed to work with a router, which is essential for assigning IP addresses from it's DHCP server with the necessary lease times to avoid disconnections.

Please follow the setup instructions outlined in the RUCKUS Lennar Knowledge Base article on how to setup with devices.

RUCKUS Lennar Knowledge Base - Connectivity Setup and Configuration

If we suspect a hardware issue, we are happy to assist with a replacement according to our policies.

Thank you once again for your patience and understanding.

Best regards,

Hi @daddygoat

Thank you for your response and the information provided.

Based on the commands and outputs, it appears that the issue does not lie with the RUCKUS ICX-7150-C12P, as everything seems to be functioning normally.

As previously advised, please connect your RUCKUS Switch directly to one of the LAN ports on your ISP's router.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Best regards,
