Re: ICX7150-C12 Switch - POE Fatal

Hi,

I am having this same problem ("PoE Fatal: Vmain (48V) fault has forced all ports on slot 0 to lose power."). The APs started to sporadically lose POE after a power outage.

I started down this path:How to Upgrade a Switch ICX-7150-C12P using a USB flash drive

However, after the first reboot I have lost access to the console due to constant POE error messages.

I have tried both methods referenced above to "To disable the logs for the PoE error, run the next commands."

Neither worked.

I made to this step (20- Once the switch is running 8080f version, we can proceed to install the 8095hufi, in this version as I mentioned previously, the boot code is not needed to be install separately since it is included in the same file.) but can't really verify versions etc. since my console filled with errors.

What should I try next?

Hi Pinky,

I do. But what else should I do at this point? When I am not able to get the command line? The system starts and stays in this endless loop .

Hello @lenar_ruck_user ,

Thank you for the response.

Could you please confirm if you are able to login to the CLI using the Telnet Option and if you have followed the commands to reset the Switch credentials?

Please share the screenshots if you are getting stuck at any point.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Hello @lenar_ruck_user ,

Thank you for the response.

I understand that you are unable to access CLI through Telnet option.

We would request you to access CLI through console cable.

Please follow the below RUCKUS Lennar Knowledge base self-help article which will help you to console in the ICX-7150-12CP 'Ruckus Switch

https://community.ruckuswireless.com/t5/RUCKUS-Support-for-Lennar-Homes/How-to-console-in-the-ICX-71...

Once you have access to CLI using the console cable, please refer to the below video which will help you to reset your password on the Switch.

Please follow the article and video and let me know if you have any queries in this regard.

Thank you again for your patience.
