RUCKUS ICX-7150-C12P Switch won't reset

I have followed the steps outlined in Process for performing a physical factory reset (hard reset) on the RUCKUS ICX-7150-C12P Switch to reset my switch.

It never gets past the blinking lights as described in "Figure 4 illustrates the sequence of flashing LEDs on the switch for a period following the release of the paper clip from the reset button."

Thank you for the information you shared.

As per the case description, I understand that you are looking to reset the Switch and you are getting stuck.

Could you please let us know the answers to the below queries to assist you better?

1)  May  I please know if you have performed reset multiple times?

2)  Was there any power outage before you started facing this issue?

3)   On your switch while it's plugged into the outlet, do you see any lights on? (Amber or green) Please let us know which lights are on. (Please refer to the below picture and share a picture of the same, showing the light status and the FULL Switch panel cable connections to the Switch ports)

 

 

Please help us with pictures of your ICX-7150-C12P Switch showing the status of the lights and cable connections to the Switch ports.

→I have performed the rest at least a dozen times following the instructions I shared.

2)  Was there any power outage before you started facing this issue?

→No

3)   On your switch while it's plugged into the outlet, do you see any lights on? (Amber or green) Please let us know which lights are on. (Please refer to the below picture and share a picture of the same, showing the light status and the FULL Switch panel cable connections to the Switch ports)

Hi @BillRamos ,

Thank you for the response.

From the response shared, I understand that the status lights on the Switch is Amber and the PWR light is Green which means that the Switch is stuck in the boot mode.

Please follow the below RUCKUS Lennar Knowledge base self-help article which will help you to fix the issue when the Switch is in boot mode.

As you have performed reset multiple times, the only option is to perform software recovery.

Please follow the process as explained in the article and let me know if you have any queries in this regard.
