RUCKUS ICX 7150-C12 switch IP address is invisible

I have an ICX 7150-c12 switch with 3 APs in my house for 3+ years, lately I have trouble to connect to any of my banking apps while using iPhone and speedtest app on iphone also errored out a lot. I was trying to ssh to the devices, the Advanced IP Scanner only shows 3 APs and one of the AP (192.168.1.252) was unplugged from the switch just for debugging. Where is the IP address for the ICX 7150-C12 switch?

Hi Imran,

I unplugged then plugged the power of the switch and modem many times in past few days. but the number of working switch reported by the Unleashed-Dashboard is always ZERO.  Is the hardwire broken?

Hi @simonsun524

Thank you for the response and the information you shared.

We must check some configurations on the Switch to fix this issue and get the Switch connected to the Unleashed system.

Could you please let me know if you can find the IP Address of the Switch from the IP Scan after a reboot? by the name of Ruckus Wireless or Brocade Communications?

If yes, please try to get CLI access to the Switch and help me with the output of the commands shared in my previous post.

Please confirm and let me know if you have any queries in this regard.

Thank you again for your patience and understanding.

Since last Saturday I have power cycled the switch more than 10 times, no IP address of the Switch has ever shown up at Adv. IP Scanner. That is the reason I created this Post.

It seems like that there is a hardware issue on the ICX 7150-C12P switch, it acts as an unmanaged switch, still can pass packets through but behaves very weirdly.  Is there a way to run some diagnostic code to test the Switch without IP port being up? Is there any warranty for the Switch?

Hi @simonsun524

Greetings!!!

Thank you for the response and the update.

Could you please perform the IP Scan once again share the a full image/screenshot showing ALL the IP Address of the scan results?

Thank you again for your patience and understanding.

Hi @simonsun524

Thank you for the response and for sharing the requested information.

I guess, one of the IPs which are greyed out belongs to the Switch and that is not coming up.

However, we can try to get console access to the Switch to get these issues fixed. Please try to get the console access to the Switch as explained in the below guide and help me with the command output.

https://community.ruckuswireless.com/t5/RUCKUS-Support-for-Lennar-Homes/How-to-console-in-the-ICX-71...

Please enter the below commands once you log in to Console and share the output.

show version

show flash

Please share the output of the above commands or share the screenshots if stuck at any step or error (if any) and let me know if you have any queries in this regard.

Thank you again for your patience and understanding.
