R510 power light stuck in solid red

Hi, I have two r510 APs and one of them have their power light stuck in RED. I tried the below three troubleshooting mentioned in the forum and still see no change.

1. Power Cycle the AP.

2.  Change the port in the switch for the AP.

3. Press the reset button for 30 seconds.

Could you please advise how to resolve this issue, Thanks!

Thank you for the information you shared.

As per the case description, I understand that one of your Ruckus Access point is stuck in solid red.

We kindly request that you connect your RUCKUS R510 Access Points (APs) one by one to a functional power outlet and share both pictures and a single video showcasing the light status, the 12 VDC external power adapter cord connected to the APs, and its connection to a working power outlet. Please refer to the example pictures provided below for guidance. (Usually, you will find the 12 VDC adapter connected to your ISP’s (Internet Service Provider’s) Router/Modem-Router combo device.)

For the video upload, we have created a designated link for your convenience. You can access it via the following link: (Refer to the EXAMPLE VIDEOS from this drive link)

Kindly shoot a video similar to the EXAMPLE Video provided in the link. 

In the video, please ensure to capture the following:

1. Show the plug of the ICX-7150-C12P Switch being connected to a working outlet.

2. Simultaneously, display the light status on the switch.

I understand that you have tried to perform a reset on the Access point.

I would request you to please follow the below article to perform the factory reset on APs.

Hello @pinky_rukus,

                              I again tried several times to factory reset the R510. Even after holding the rest pin for 25 seconds there is no change to the situation. The power light remains solid red and it does not boot or go into blinking green. I captured this in a video and have saved in the below link for your review. Please advise on the next steps.
