R510 - Lennar Home - Open NAT Type

Good Afternoon All,

I am seeking some help.  We just purchased a Lennar home that was built in 2020 and has the Lennar Smart Home setup.  I have configured both R510s that are in the house and everything is running smoothly when it comes to the network.  

That being said, my two sons both have an XBox Series X and when I connected them to the network and tested everything it shows their NAT types as moderate.  I have looked around in the settings for the Ruckus Unleashed but have not found how to enable uPnP in an effort to make the NAT type Open.  

Can anyone offer me some guidance or assistance?

Hi @TinkyPeanut 

Some changes must be done via CLI, so you need to gain access to the master Access Point and made the changes, take in consideration that you may need to enable it as well in your own ISP router.

1:Find the IP address of the Master Access Point, this cam be found in the APP, Unleashed Dashboard, or you can use the next guide to discover your network device's IP address.

2:Now you know the IP address, you need to gain remote access to the Master Access Point using any of the next two Application: Putty or Mobaxterm, you can follow up the next guide:

3:You will be requested for credentials which must be the same you used in the Unleashed APP or Dashboard, if you don't know the credential test the next combination:

Username:                      Passwords:

  admin                             sp-admin

                                          Lennar

                                          Ruckus!

                                          Ruckus1

                                          admin

                                          password

4:once you gain access, you need to run the next set of commands to Enable UPnP.

ruckus# config
ruckus(config)# upnp
ruckus(config)#quit or end
