New Home Assistance

I recently bought a Lennar home with a Ruckus ICX 7150-c12p switcher and 2 access points. I managed to get power to the access points but am unsure if they are actually working properly because the 2.4 and 5G lights are still amber colored which I have read online means they are not connecting to any clients. Just looking for some guidance on how to check if they are working or what steps I can take to fix any issues. I would love to upload photos but can’t seem to find how to do that haha

Would I be able to connect to my WiFi as normal and it uses the access point or do I need to connect to the access points directly for WiFi?

Hi @Tinsley

Thank you for your response.

1. You may connect to your ISP (Internet Service Provider) router’s Wi-Fi network, provided you are within its coverage range.

2. You can connect to the RUCKUS Access Point Wi-Fi network for extended coverage across different areas of your home. You would need the RUCKUS Wi-Fi password to connect. If you do not know the password, you may need to perform a factory reset on the Access Points and set up a new RUCKUS Wi-Fi network based on your preferences. Please carefully refer to the article shared in my previous post for detailed guidance.

Hope this helps.

Please let me know if you need any additional information or assistance.

Thank you again for your patience and understanding.

Best regards,
