Hello,
I am a new Lennar user and was trying to connect both the Ruckus switch and Ruckus AP to my wifi network.
As per instructions from my seller, I tried to reset the Ruckus switch in the media outlet, but do I need to also reset my Ruckus AP? Please let me know.
So after resetting the Ruckus switch in the media outlet, connected to my Xifnity wifi modem-router, although, i see green lights on my AP ( on the PWR Led indictor and 2.4G Led indicator, but no light on the AIR Led indicator nor the CTL Led indicator) , but I am still unable to login my Ruckus switch's online dashboard nor the Ruckus AP's dashboard -- which i assume is through their respective IP's right -- that i found from my Xfinity app.
Kindly let me know the default credentials for logging into Ruckus switch dashboard and likewise into my Ruckus AP's dashboard in order to configure them to connect to my wifi network.
Any prompt help in setting up the Ruckus switch to connect to my Xfinity wifi network and also setting up Ruckus AP to my wifi network is highly appreciated.
Looking forward to hearing from you soon.
Thanks,
Pravin.

Hello -
As per instructions from my seller, I tried to reset the Ruckus switch in the media outlet, but do I need to also reset my Ruckus AP? Please let me know.
- I would recommend resetting your AP as well, however you do not need too!
- below are some of the common username and password for Lennar related Ruckus devices:
- in my experience, super is the username for the 7150 switch and admin for the AP
- i wouldnt be too concerned with the LED's right now, might make more "noise" once you get devices that support the 2.4 Ghz or 5Ghz bands.
Any prompt help in setting up the Ruckus switch to connect to my Xfinity wifi network and also setting up Ruckus AP to my wifi network is highly appreciated.
your Xfinity device should plug directly into your 7150 switch then your AP should plug into the switch as well. both devices should receive DHCP addresses which can be found in your APP or whatever your Xfinity web management page is - example, ATT uses 192.168.1.254 for managing the "wifi router" or "internet router"

Hello protocol88,
Thanks so much for providing those details, so for the Ruckus switch, none of the provided passwords work in combination with `super` as the username nor `admin` as the username.
However, for the AP, i am able to login with `admin` username along with one of the passwords provided in that list, but i am unable to find a way to add my wifi network to it.
Please help.
Thanks & Regards,
Pravin S Vilvamangalath.

You cannot ‘add your wifi network’ - the Ruckus AP will create its own wireless network and will not extend the existing wifi network, even if you give it the same network name and password. If a device drops off the Xfinity network and chooses to join the Ruckus network, it needs to establish a secure connection which will take a few seconds. The only way to have a seamless wifi network with multiple APs is to use the same vendor and have some kind of controller (the AP itself in the case of Ruckus) that shares the client keys to all APs so that your client devices can roam between them without interruption.
