My two access points recently lost power. After downloading Putty and viewing the active logs, I saw this error message repeating over and over:
"PoE Fatal: Vmain (48V) fault has forced all ports on slot 0 to lose power."
AS this does not look like a software issue, I have not updated to the most recent software package. Any suggestions? Would this be covered by a hardware warranty?
Thanks,
Dan

Please perform an upgrade to the code 08095g UFI, if case you are having issue performing the upgrade please, share the screenshot of the failure while you are connected through putty, let me add the Upgrade guide for TFTP or USB.
To disable the logs for the PoE error, run the next commands.

enable
device
configure terminal
device(config)# no logging on
Note: if you are in an old code, try the next

I have encountered this problem. I removed all the cables from the 7150 and performed a factory reset and after rebooting the continuous logging of the message: PoE Fatal: Vmain (48V) fault has forced all ports on slot 0 to lose power. By entering b at boot time I can get it to stop but if I enter boot after the firmware loads the error messages continue. I can't break the deluge of these messages to get any commands in to stop the logging. I've moved all my POE devices to an unmanaged POE switch and they're working fine. Is it time for a new switch?
