hi.

Have my ICX 7150-C12P boot corruption. No bootloader. Console outputs unreadable garbage at all baudrates.

Tried to reset the Switch and connect via Serial cable but there is a boot corruption. Need to know how to apply for warranty

To better assist you, could you please provide the following information:

1. Can you confirm the issue with the RUCKUS ICX-7150-C12P Switch?
2. When your switch is connected to the outlet, do you observe any illuminated lights (amber or green)? Kindly describe which lights are visible. Additionally, please provide a photo showing the status of the lights and the full switch panel with cable connections to the switch ports.


3. Please share a screenshot of the errors you are seeing on Command Line (CLI)

Hi, 

The problem with the swtich is that there is no traffic. There is just an amber light in the SYSTE led and green one on the one next to CLD. So i tried to connect the switch via serial cable. Tried with different baud rates but some strange letter and symbols start to appear (Images attached). I tried to reset the switch but same happens. Not sure why i can do to solve the problem, i was reading and it looks like there is a common issue with this switch doing the same.

Thank you for the response and the update.

From the Switch light status, it appears that the device is stuck in boot mode.

Please use a Windows laptop to perform the Software Recovery process, as it is the most reliable method.
