I accidently changed the IP address on my IXC 7150 network switch

Eldude65

The power went out and reset my network switch. I was attempting to troubleshoot and changed the IP address of my network switch to an IP address that belonged to my router. I am unable to change it now no matter how many times that I power cycle my switch. I know what IP address it should have based on my router, but I am unable to fix it. I need help. I have been working this all day.

Hi Eldude65

Thank you for reaching us.

Could you please confirm whether you're able to access the switch using the configured IP address or via the console connection? Additionally, it would be helpful to know the exact switch model you're working with.

For guidance on establishing a console connection, please refer to the article linked below—it provides step-by-step instructions to assist you.

Thank you

Hello,

I cannot access the switch via the IP address. I can only access it via CLI. Through the app, the switch is stuck in discovery mode so I cannot change the IP address there either.

The switch is a ICX7150-C12.

Did you see my response? I can access the switch through the CLI interface. Model is an ICX7150-C12.
