Hi there, I bought a no break to avoid switch corruptions in the future but wanted to check how can I safely turn off the switch ICX7150 and later turn on after I connect it to the new no break. Is there someone who can help me make the procedure in a safe way?

Hi @tiago1984
Greetings of the day,
We cannot turn off the switch instead you can remove the power. Also please refer the below guide to hardware installation:

is there a way to prepare the switch via console its going to be turned off somehow? I want to avoid removing the power and causing it to get stuck in boot mode or get corrupted again like happened when I had a power shortage since I had to pay a tech to fix it. I just want to turn off to add a no break in the system.

Hi @tiago1984
Hope you are doing well !
The only way to turn it off is by disconnecting it from the power source , there is no command to turn off the switch.
The way that we can avoid that switch get stuck on boot mode is upgrading to the stable versions for CIX-7150-C12P ( 8095g )
