Connecting to Replacement RUCKUS ICX-7150-C12P

MoLennarHome

Hello, I was instructed to leave a new message by Imran Sanadi. I live in a Lennar home and received a replacement RUCKUS ICX-7150-C12P port In the mail today. I installed it and the lights are all green in the port.

I have three ruckus access points in my home, and they are all finally turned on with the green light on. Previously, with the defective port, this was not the case.

However, the “PWR” Indicator on all three access points is flashing green. Furthermore, I cannot access the WiFi - the old Wi-Fi name that I used to use does not even show up under the list of Wi-Fi available.

Please help with this issue.

Wifi Port Front.jpg

Hello, enclosed are pictures of one of the access points in my home, a picture of the new Ruckus port, and a front and back picture of the Wifi to my home.

The access point's "CTL" is lit green. The access point's "PWR" light flashes green, so although it is shown without the green light in the picture, it flashes green continously.

The new Ruckus port is all lit green.

My Wifi port (AT&T) is green and works fine because I can connect devices to it.

My problem is connecting to the Ruckus port/access points throughout my house. I used to be able to do this under a "Lennar" Wifi name; however, it does not populate as a Wifi option now.

Please advise on how to configure the new Ruckus port to the AT&T Wifi.

Hi @MoLennarHome

Thank you for your response and the update.

Based on the picture you shared, it appears that the black cable from your Internet Service Provider’s (ISP) router is connected to the incorrect port on the RUCKUS ICX-7150-C12P Switch. The cable should be connected to one of the 1-12 ports on the switch (please refer to the screenshots below). Kindly unplug the cable and reconnect it to the appropriate port. Afterward, please reboot the ISP router by unplugging and plugging it back into the power outlet. Once done, check your internet connection.

Please let me know how it goes, and feel free to reach out if further assistance is needed.

Thank you again for your patience and understanding.

Best regards,
Imran Sanadi
