Hi all,
I currently have an icx7550-48zp running 10.0.20T243 software. I'm trying to setup a VLAN to pass through a specific port. I've configured the port untagged for VLAN 5 but in L2 settings. Is there anything I need to do in L3 settings to allow traffic to pass.
The switch is setup on a network where i am able to SSH into and able to ping the default gateway for the VLAN I am trying to connect the port to.

Hi Mario
Thank you for reaching us
You can refer the below link to understand more about configuring vlan and ve in router code.
The switch model is different but the command remains the same. Configuration related to tagging and untagging the port in vlans remains the same in router and switch code.
Also could you please let me know if this is a new setup and if you are looking for a specific feature in 10.0.20 version ?
Thanks

I've followed the instructions described. The IP that I am configuring, I'm guessing is a static IP for the subnet of the VLAN? I'm still not able to see if the AP connected to that port is receiving an IP address.
I'll break down the situation a little further. I've setup a vSZ essentials on a management VLAN 10.10.5.X/24, the switch that I have is configured on a separate VLAN 10.10.4.X/24. I was able to configure the vSZ on the switch with no issue and it is now talking to the vSZ. Now I'm trying to connect an AP to the switch so it could start communicating with the vSZ and be online. This is where I am trying to configure the port to allow the VLAN traffic to pass and have the AP connect. The network is setup for DHCP option 42 already and have had some AP's connect to the vSZ but bypassing the switch I am trying to configure.
I upgraded to 10.0.20 only because it is the latest and when the switch was installed with 08.0.95, we were unable to access the web GUI.

I've downgraded the switches to GZS09010j_cd2.bin with the same result.

Hi Mario
Thank you for reaching us
Could you please let me know if AP is able to garb IP address from DHCP server ? and is it able to reach default gateway in the network when you try to ping using AP GUI or CLI ?
