Unattended batch commands

I discovered today the batch commands inside of ICX switches. I can see many uses but when I tried I got this:

How can I set recurring jobs if they're cancelled when I disconnect?

Also is this persistent across reboots?

See the last point. Reloading would also cancel any batch executions.

Well, that's a bummer. I thought I could use this feature to automate some maintenance: keeping the SSH keys updated, backing up configuration files, collect logs, etc. 

What are the uses you see in the field?

You could certainly use it to make changes after hours, stage new code, etc.
