ICX-7450 limited to 08.0.80f - can't upgrade!

I've tried countless times to get my ICX-7450 past 08.0.80f without success

Chat GPT is trying to tell me my A0 ASIC is limiting things, the BCM56548_A0

but googling doesn't confirm this

I get kernel panics for all UFI images, and even non UFI past 08.0.80f

any tricks?  I need some features from 08.0.90d and up, specifically the 40G breakout capability (chat GPT tells me this is the earliest revision supporting)

Did you try 8080f non UFI to 8095r UFI? It should work. If not, please open a case.

yes I did!  tried just now updating to 08.0.90d and got that to work, then tried 08.0.90mc which failed.  then going back to 08.0.90d failed again - so I'm confused.

*never got anything newer than 08.0.80f to work except that one time with 08.0.90d.   All non efi.  all the efi images kernel panic.
