Command to compare running and startup configs?

Hi everyone,

Is there a command similar to Cisco "show archive config differences"?

I'm not seeing anything that stands out for the 7250/7550 command ref guide.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

show run > running config

show config > startup config

Is there a way to show the specific differences between the two configs? Only what is different?

There is not a way to do that for those two files. You would have to offload and use something to compare. We did introduce config archive/replace in 9.0, but I have not used it much. Please take a look here for more details:

Thank you, Ben for assisting me. Yeah, it looks like I will have to use something outside and copy/paste the configs and compare them that way.
