7650 100g breakout?

Trying to determine if breaking out the 100g rear ports on the 7650 is possible. I've tried using a 100G QSFP28 to 4X 25G SFP28 Breakout DAC and show media detects it as 40GBASE-Passive Copper 1m (QSFP+) (Not Supported).

I've searched and can't find anything other than info on the 7550, 7750 and 7850.

I did end up finding a document on supported optics that says its breaking out the 100g/40g is not possible currently on the 7650. Wondering if anyone at Ruckus can weigh in on if support will be added in the future. Seems odd that the lower 7550 model supports this function but not the 7650.

Hey @redhot411

One thing to keep in mind is the 7550 came out a few years after the 7650, so feature support is going to vary. I went back to some initial information on 7650 and I can see we stated breakout was not supported on the rear module at all. I am not sure if this is a hardware limitation, but that would be my best guess. I will reach out to someone internally and see if I can 100% confirm.
