Hello all,
My boss recently placed the order to Ruckus on R650, Cloudpath and Cloud Analytics. I wonder what I should start with in order to migrate from the old Cisco APs into Ruckus.
What I think I will have to prepare the VM in our ESX environment for holding the virtual appliance. The office environment is having a few SSIDs for our internal staffs, guests etc. I am also thinking in order to do the in-place migration, I will have to reserve another IP subnet/VLANs for this.
Any idea/suggestions welcome 🙂

First you would need to install a new vSZ controller and make sure the license part is correctly done. Once this is done assuming you already have DHCP option43 set, you can power on the APs and let it know the IP from server to connect automatically to the new virtual controller. On the part of WLAN you can use below as reference :
