iOS Disconnections on Open-Captive Portal WiFi

Hello everyone,

I am experiencing continuous disconnections with Apple iOS devices on a WiFi network configured as Open + Captive Portal with a corporate web page redirection.

The issue occurs in the following scenarios:

• Each time the device roams between different APs.

• Even when staying connected to the same AP, the captive portal page keeps reappearing roughly every 2 minutes.

We are noticing this behavior much more frequently with iOS devices compared to others.

Has anyone encountered a similar issue, or do you have suggestions on possible configuration adjustments or workarounds?

What is the controller and AP version here in use ? Also what is the configured parameter/value for below :

Grace period

session timeout

inactivity timeout

Hi Vineet,

thanks for your reply. Here is the info:

AP version (AP R350): 7.1.1.520.830

Grace period: 720 minutes since disconnection

User connection: 5 days

Inactivity time: 86400 seconds
