I have set up an R600 access point and pointed it to the wireless controller, but it still cannot be detected by the ZoneDirector. I tried to upgrade the AP firmware (version 10.2.1.0.159) to match the controller’s version, but I couldn’t find the firmware on the Ruckus website.
Details:
R600
IP Address: 10.64.25.31/24
Firmware Version: 3.5.0.0.1333
ZoneDirector 1200
IP Address: 10.64.1.32/24
Firmware Version: 10.2.1.0.159
License: No license has been imported
Support: No active support entitlement detected
ZoneDirector 3050
IP Address: 10.64.1.31/24
Firmware Version: 10.1.1.0.35
License: 75 AP Management (ACTIVE)
Support: Inactive
Question:
How can I add the R600 access point to the wireless controller?
Do I need to upgrade the R600 firmware, or is there another solution?

Hi Valz,
Thank you for contacting Ruckus Support and for providing a clear explanation of the issue.
Based on the details you have shared, I was able to confirm that the controller version 10.2.1.0.159 is compatible with R600 access points. Please follow the steps below to proceed:
1.) Verify AP Licenses: Ensure that your controller has enough AP licenses available.
2.) Factory Reset & Upload standalone: Perform a factory reset on the AP and upload the following standalone firmware version:
https://support.ruckuswireless.com/software/2432-zoneflex-solo-access-point-110-0-0-0-2005-ga-softwa...
3.) Check Network Connectivity: Access the AP via SSH and verify if you are able to ping the IP address of the controller.
4.) If you are not able to ping the controller's IP, please check your network configuration for reachability.
4.) If you are able to ping the controller's IP, run the following commands on the AP:
set director ip <controller IP>If the AP still does not connect to the controller after completing these steps, please create a support case with us using the link below for further assistance:
