M510 LTE CLI

Firstly, the M510 seems to be a great product. However, the LTE Status M510 information via WebUI is insufficient as it contains no information (apart from connection information). My questins is on how I can retrieve more information about the current LTE status (RSSI etc etc) via CLI?

I could not find any documentation

I don't see a published command reference guide, so you might look around from the AP CLI, and Help command output.

Hi Juergen,

Please use get lte-statistics command from the AP CLI.

Here is a sample output of this CLI and will provide you detailed statistics:

Thanks Ankush,

I am fairly new to the RUCKUS CLI and having trouble to get the AP to provide the statitics via "get lte-statistics"  - see below.

ruckus(debug)# get lte-statistics
The command is either unrecognized or incomplete. To view a list of commands that you can run  from this context, type '?' or 'help'.

What am I doing wrong here?

I am testing one of the M510 for a client but I don't seem to be able to get any internet on it running standalone.

When I run the command I don't get any output for the current IP, Mask, Gateway, Operator, or DNS.

ATT tells me the IMEI is valid and the new SIM card I got from them show present and is the same as the one they list in their system.

Is there any other way to troubleshoot the LTE connection beyond this one command?

I don't see any other documentation on it.

I want to use this in a remote location factory where they have satellite internet and I would like to have the M510 provide backup internet in case the satellite goes down.

I have previously used a Sierra Wireless ES450 for this purpose. The APs at this location are connected to vSZ.

Thanks!Tim
