Initial R710 setup Cant Connect https http or ssh

I'm configuring an R710, going through the initial setup. I factory reset the device and I can ping the default IP 192.168.0.1, however I cannot access it via the web or through SSH. There's a strong possibility that this device was once configured with a ZoneDirector, I've read that might be the problem. I'm new to Rukus and I just want to know if there's anything I can do in this situation without going through ZoneDirector, which I've never used before.

Sorry for being late to this discussion, but I think this might help someone later. I have just received my R710 today.

Using the DC power adapter, went with resetting the device, it came up alive after 30 seconds or so. Tried hooking up non POE gbit links to each ethernet ports, but the default 192.168.0.1 address was just unreachable via ICMP echoes (ping). Then I decided to run an NMAP ping scan (nmap -sn 192.168.0.0/24) off of my 192.168.0.0/24 subnet and it yielded an unknown IP:

Nmap scan report for 192.168.0.67

Host is up (0.00s latency).

MAC Address: xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx (Ruckus Wireless)

And voila! It responds to ping and able to communicate on http port using 192.168.0.67 IP address.

On my R710 running Unleashed 200.7, after about 15 resets and reboots, it finally wiped. Came back with IP of 10.154.231.125 and gave my computer DHCP address of 10.154.231.163.

Hi Dan,

Sorry to ask, but are you facing any issue or just sharing the observations from your R710.

Please confirm.

Has this ever been resolved? We encounter similar issues with H.510.

Similar issue? can ping the mgmt ip, but there appears to be no SSH, HTTP, or HTTPS?
