I'm configuring an R710, going through the initial setup. I factory reset the device and I can ping the default IP 192.168.0.1, however I cannot access it via the web or through SSH. There's a strong possibility that this device was once configured with a ZoneDirector, I've read that might be the problem. I'm new to Rukus and I just want to know if there's anything I can do in this situation without going through ZoneDirector, which I've never used before.

I looked up the Putty and Chrome errors and there is no service to connect too. Which means the R710 has basic network features working but none of the "higher level" functions running. So the firmware must be corrupted. Is there any "special" firmware reset process other than the 10 sec reset button?

We helped someone last month who needed to use WIRESHARK to determine the AP had been previously set up by a 'Customer'. I'm wondering if you run Wireshark on the device, do you see the APs ARP requests? How about DHCP?

It's my AP and the basic network functions are working. If I connect the AP to a network it will get an IP address and I can ping that address. However I can not SSH or WebGUI to the AP using that IP address. Same issue with 192.168.0.1.

The AP will bridge IP addresses through the "LAN" port, but that's about it. No wireless functionality or anything else. Will get the flashing green light if not connected to network and will go solid if connected.
