Can't access default AP on R510

I'm having a problem setting up my r510, can you help me what is the root cause. I plugged it directly to my computer and I can't go through default AP which 192.168.0.1 and when you open the Wi-fi the Configure.me is showing up but encrypted, already tried the S/N as a  password but didn't work. and reset the ruckus many times. It doesn't also show up on my IP scanner. please help me fix this issue.

That means AP has an IP address, you just need to findout what IP it has.

Try below:

1. Check your DHCP lease table and find the AP's MAC entry in it. That will give you the assigned IP address.

2. Connect laptop to the 2nd port of the AP, while keep the AP connected to the network as well. Your laptop should get IP  on same subnet and then you can run the IP scanner.

If still facing the issue, I would suggest you to open a support case and support team will assist you further.

Hi Mimi,

When you connected the AP directly to the laptop, did you configure the same subnet IP on your laptop's ethernet card? If not, please do it and then try again.

Also, make sure you are doing factory reset correctly.
