Access Point support Frontier Fiber 2GB speed

Do the Access Points pre-installed in Lennar homes support 2GB speeds for Frontier Fiber internet? If not, could you please recommend APs that do?

Additionally, does the Ruckus Switch only work with Ruckus APs? Or can I use APs from other brands?

To clarify, the Ruckus AP I have in my home is R320 Series

You would need a new switch and new Wifi-7 capable access points to get much above 1Gbps through wifi. Your mobile devices will also need to support 7 - most don’t.

Hi @zgabriel22,

You may not necessarily need full 2Gbps speed on each client for home, but if you still want to achieve that, you must use WiFi-7 AP and compatible client to get the maximum speed on wireless. A Wi-Fi6e AP can also help here like R760 but client compatibility is also required.

Here are the datasheets for R770 Wi-Fi7 AP, and R760 Wi-Fi6e AP.
