Hi,
I'm looking for a way to put WiFi into a factory area that requires special consideration for explosive atmospheres. The official spec I have to comply with is ATEX
http://www.hse.gov.uk/fireandexplosion/atex.htm#whatatex
I have found these enclosures but they need APs with external antennas
http://www.extronics.com/product/iwap107-zone-1-ap-system/
Does anyone have any ideas. We are running Ruckus everywhere else so I'd like to keep using Ruckus for this as well.
Regards
Bruce

Hi Bruce,
We have a similar requirement - did you (or anyone else) find a solution that is ATEX compliant?
Thanks
Nick

No, sorry. The requirement went away and I stopped looking.

Hi,
i saw that the Ruckus E510 is an compatible AP for Extronics:
https://www.extronics.com/product/iwapxn3-wireless-system/
https://www.extronics.com/wireless-device-list/
https://webresources.ruckuswireless.com/datasheets/e510/ds-ruckus-e510-de.html
Does anyone have experince if that is a solution for ATEX compliant?
